The fully ripe, black fruits can usually be harvested from September. In the premises of the Prinz distillery, they produce an extremely aromatic distillate from it. Matured for several years in earthenware and carboys, the result is the delicious elderberry schnapps. The fragrance is intense with sweet notes reminiscent of the scent of flowers. On the palate it impresses with a varietal, finely spicy taste.
